What is The Alignment Co.?
The Alignment Co. is a North Vancouver chiropractic and movement practice being developed around a simple idea: chiropractic care should help you move better, stay active and get more out of life.
Care will bring together chiropractic, hands-on treatment, movement and rehabilitation, with the approach shaped around your symptoms, goals and lifestyle.
Is The Alignment Co. currently open?
Not yet. The Alignment Co. is currently being prepared for its opening in Edgemont Village, North Vancouver.
Dawn is currently completing her Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) degree in the UK. Chiropractic appointments will become available once she has completed her training and obtained the appropriate registration to practise in British Columbia.
What services will The Alignment Co. offer?
The practice will focus on:
- Chiropractic care
- Hands-on chiropractic and soft-tissue treatment
- Movement and rehabilitation
- Mobility and strength
- The Alignment Protocol™ — bringing together movement, recovery, nutrition and healthy ageing as part of a broader approach to physical wellbeing
Not every person will need every part of the approach. Your care will be shaped around what you need and what you want to get back to doing.
What can chiropractic care help with?
Chiropractic care may be appropriate for a range of musculoskeletal problems, including back pain, neck pain, stiffness, headaches, joint restrictions and activity-related aches and pains.
An assessment will help determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you and what approach may be most useful.
Will treatment only involve chiropractic adjustments?
No. An adjustment is only one part of the approach.
Depending on your needs, treatment may also include hands-on work for muscles and soft tissues, joint mobilisation, movement work, exercise and rehabilitation strategies.
The aim is not simply to treat the area that hurts, but to help you understand how you move and build confidence in your body.
What is The Alignment Protocol™?
The Alignment Protocol™ is the broader philosophy behind The Alignment Co.
It brings together three simple ideas:

Understand what is contributing to your symptoms and movement limitations.
Move with greater mobility, confidence and control.
Build strength, physical capacity and habits that support long-term health.
Who is The Alignment Co. for?
The practice is intended for people who want to move better, stay active and maintain their physical capacity.
That may include people dealing with pain or stiffness, people returning to activity after an injury, and active adults who want to keep hiking, cycling, skiing, golfing, exercising and enjoying everyday life.
When can I make an appointment?
The Alignment Co. is not currently accepting appointments.

Where will The Alignment Co. be located?
The planned location is Edgemont Village, North Vancouver, serving people across North Vancouver and the wider North Shore.
Is Dawn currently registered to practise chiropractic in British Columbia?
No. Dawn is currently completing her Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) degree in the UK and is a Student Member of the BCA and RCC.
She is not currently registered to practise chiropractic independently in British Columbia. Chiropractic services will only be offered once she has completed the necessary training and obtained the appropriate registration.
